Remote work

Stay in the meeting. Keep doing the work.

On one laptop screen, your call sits behind the document you're working on. Thruly turns your document to glass, so you can see who's talking without switching windows.

Use cases

What you can keep in view

  • Meetings behind your notes

Write, edit or reply while the meeting stays visible through your work.

  • Chat in view

Keep team chat or email behind the window you're in and see new messages without Alt-Tab.

  • Hot desks and travel

No monitor at the desk or on the train? Your laptop still gives you two layers.

How it works

Three steps, no setup

  1. 1

    Install from the Microsoft Store

Free for Windows 10 and 11. Thruly waits quietly in your tray.

  2. 2

    Click into your work

The window you're working in turns to glass, about 80% solid.

  3. 3

    See what's behind it

Your meeting, chat, chart or agent stays in view. Switch windows and Thruly follows you.

FAQ

Questions

Does it work with meeting and chat apps?

Thruly is built for normal app windows, which includes desktop meeting and chat apps and browser tabs. A call you've made full-screen is left as it is.

Can I keep one app always solid?

Yes. Exclude it from the tray menu and Thruly never makes it see-through.

What does Thruly do?

Thruly makes the window you're working in see-through, so you can see the window behind it. Click into another window and that one turns to glass while the previous one goes back to solid. It's like a second screen on your laptop.

Does Thruly see or send my screen?

No. Thruly changes how windows look, never what's in them. It doesn't read, record or upload your screen, and no screen pixels ever leave your device.

How do I control it?

From the tray menu and three shortcuts: Ctrl+Alt+T turns Thruly on or off, Ctrl+Alt+− and Ctrl+Alt+= make the window more or less see-through, and holding Ctrl+Alt+Space lets you peek further behind it. You can also exclude apps you always want solid.

Which windows does it work with?

Normal app windows: browsers, documents, terminals, editors, chat and meeting apps. Thruly leaves full-screen windows (games, videos, presentations) and windows running as administrator as they are.

What if Thruly crashes?

Your windows go back to normal. Thruly keeps a restore record and a small helper that resets windows if it stops unexpectedly. One exception: if Windows force-closes Thruly (for example during an uninstall), the window that was see-through at that moment stays that way until you restart that app.

Which computers does it run on?

Windows 10 and 11, installed from the Microsoft Store. A Mac version is planned; join the waitlist to hear when it's ready.

How much does it cost?

The core is free. Pro is a one-time $19, and Watch alerts are $5 a month or $48 a year. Pro and Watch arrive after launch. See Pricing for what each includes.
